How should I take the grandiose Mountain Tai?
'Tween Qi and Lu's border the green ranges lie.
All beauties on it the Creator bestows;
Its peaks screen daylight and cast long shadows.
The rolls of clouds would lave my bosom on high;
The home-coming birds would lure my staring eye.
Thus I'll climb up to the summit and see
The mountains around and below are wee!
